| Hi all, I'm new to the Z world and was lookin' for a little advice. I'm in the Air Force and stationed in the UK right now and I just bought a 1990 J-Spec 2+2TT Fairlady that my friend brought over from Japan. It's mostly stock but I'm trying to figure out if it's worth fixing up to bring back to the states. It's in good condition and doesn't really need much, but I've been looking around and it will cost me around $15,000 to get it modified to be drivable in the states. A few people told me that I can get at least double my money back selling it stateside. Any truth to this? If you're wondering why it would cost so much to convert: Needs all new glass (Japs don't use safety glass) Has to have side impact beams installed Has to have a US spec front and rear bumpers...etc. Thanks
